Welcome to Textify, an application dedicated to transcribing and summarizing voice messages. This privacy policy is designed to inform you about our practices concerning the collection, use, and disclosure of any information you might provide through our application.

1. Information Collected
By Us
We do not collect any personal data such as accounts, emails, or names. Our app transcribes and summarizes voice data without retaining it. We do not collect IP addresses; however, third-party providers may collect them per standard Internet protocols.
By Third Parties
We employ external services for transcription and summarization:
- Apple’s Siri (Textify) or uguu.se and RunPod (Textify+)
- Microsoft Azure
2. How We Use Your Information
Your voice data is used exclusively for transcription or summarization and then discarded. We do not store or sell your voice data, transcriptions, or IP addresses. Textify does not employ cookies or analytics services.
3. Information Disclosure
Your voice data and IP address are shared with Apple’s Siri, uguu.se, RunPod (Textify+), and Microsoft Azure solely for processing purposes.
4. On-Device Transcription
We offer on-device transcription that processes voice messages locally without external services. By default, we use Apple’s Siri for this.
5. Data Retention
Voice data is temporarily stored for 5 minutes on uguu.se for processing and then deleted.
6. Data Security
All communications with third-party services are protected using SSL/TLS encryption to safeguard your data.
7. Consent
You must agree to this policy before using the app. Consent can be withdrawn anytime by contacting info@studiostaufer.com. Since we do not retain your data, no additional steps are needed to erase it.
8. Data Protection by Design
Governed by German and EU law, Textify minimizes personal data processing by design.
9. International Users
Your data may be processed in the U.S. or other jurisdictions. RunPod and uguu.se implement safeguards for transfers outside the EEA, Switzerland, and the UK. See their policies for details.
10. User Rights
Because we don’t store personal data, you don’t have traditional data-access rights. You may withdraw consent at any time.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy occasionally. Continued use implies acceptance of changes.
